The My Family Chiro Difference
In a world of social media and opinions, we understand that not all chiropractors have the same styles of treatment and approaches - let alone the same education backgrounds.
As a solo practitioner, I prioritise spending quality with each patient, focusing on detailed diagnostics and hands-on treatment.
My education at the University of Johannesburg, featuring an internationally recognised six-year master's degree in Chiropractic, equips me with a solid understanding of the human body, its functions as well as diagnostics and hands-on treatments techniques.
In the six-year Masters degree at the University of Johannesburg, the many years of full-time study include subjects such as:
- Anatomy I and II (including a full year of dissection of a human cadaver),
- Chiropractic technique classes as well as Clinical Chiropractic IV and V
- Diagnostics III and IV,
- General and Systemic Pathology,
- Radiology and Radiography
- Auxilliary Therapuetics (a year of learning additional therapies such as IFC, TENS, Strapping, therapeutic ultrasound etc)
- Myofascial Dry Needling (a year of learning the science and technique of dry-needling)
