About Me
I'm Dr Luke Schmidt
An AHPRA registered chiropractor who graduated in 2014 from the University of Johannesburg - an internationally accredited chiropractic university. I furthered my studies in 2018 by obtaining my post-graduate International Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner through the ​Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS) - and I've had the privilege of treating national and international sportsmen and women. In 2019 I wrote and passed my Australian Chiropractic Board Examinations and then moved to Adelaide in 2022, where I worked as an associate at a clinic south of the city. Having had my own clinic in South Africa for over 8 years before selling it to start my emigration process, the fire in me was reignited when an opportunity came to start my own practice here in Adelaide.
Over the years of private practice, I have transitioned more into general family practice and have a special interest in treating babies and children - recently completing an intense two year post-graduate Diploma in Chiropractic Paediatrics (DACCP) through the Australian College of Chiropractic Paediatrics - extending my knowledge and skillset on chiropractic paediatrics - and still continuously learning! With that being said - I still love treating everyone of all ages and welcome every member of the family!
